The air filled with yells/gasps/murmurs as the spectators/observers/visitors watched in amusement/horror/bewilderment. Bedlam reigned supreme as the zookeepers/staff/experts scrambled to restore order/calm/control.

Emergency at the Aquarium: Penguin Takes a Tumble
A downpour of snow outside led to an unexpected accident inside the penguin enclosure yesterday. One of the flighty penguins, named Perry, lost his balance on the icy surface and went down. Zookeeper Sarah, who was nearby, quickly rushed to Pip's aid, ensuring he didn't get hurt. Thankfully, the penguin was fine and soon stood up, shaking off the event as if it never happened.
